We met up with Natasha and Leo at the University of Guelph Arboretum for their engagement session. It was a beautiful sunny and mild December day. Asking for a better December day than that would just be greedy. We pretty much had the Arboretum to ourselves that day. Well, almost to ourselves. We did, at one point, come upon people scattered throughout the Arboretum facing trees and standing in bushes. It seemed like a scene out of The Leftovers for a second there and really kind of freaked us out. We just ignored what was going on around us and went on with our engagement session. It does make it difficult to get a wide shot when people are spread out standing in trees and bushes all around you though. It wasn’t long before everyone that was scattered around the Arboretum, almost at once, left their spots and all walked back to the Arboretum Centre. It was surreal.
Elfreda and I had a fun time with Natasha and Leo and their engagement session is definitely one we will always very fondly remember. We are really looking forward to capturing their wedding at Hernder Estate Wines in St. Catharines.
Here are some of our favourites.
