Nancy and Mike celebrated their big day with photos at Parkwood Estate in Oshawa and at Deer Creek Golf Club in Ajax so it was a photo dream day for us as wedding photographers. Both are incredible locations for creating gorgeous wedding portraits so we were in heaven on their wedding day. Nancy and Mike had their wedding ceremony at Holy Family Parish catholic church in Whitby before heading to Parkwood Estate in Oshawa to do their family photos, bridal party photos and couple portraits. Parkwood Estate has got to be the best wedding photo location in Oshawa and it’s likely the best in the whole Durham Region. After we finished up photos at Parkwood Estate, we were off to Deer Creek Golf Club for the reception. Deer Creek is easily the best wedding venue in the Durham Region and we were also looking forward to creating more gorgeous portraits for Nancy and Mike there. On its own it has a ton of beautiful spots for wedding photos. Even though we did a lot of portraits earlier in the day we weren’t going to pass up the opportunity to do some gorgeous photos at Deer Creek, too. There is no better time of day to stunning portraits than at sunset so we made sure to get our awesome couple away from the part for a bit and out for some sunset photos.
From the first time we met Nancy and Mike we knew we would love working with them. At the end of our first meeting with them at their home we left feeling like we had just visited good friends. Elfreda and I had a lot of fun with them on their wedding day and loved documenting all the beautiful moments.
