I’ve been seriously slacking on my blogging for a long time now. A very long time. I had very good intentions to finally catch up on my blogging when we were travelling in South Africa but that didn’t’ happen. Now we’ve been home a month already and I am finally getting to it. I am starting with this fun cottage and beach engagement session because we did it a long time ago and this awesome couple’s wedding is approaching fast. We travelled to Southampton for Celia and Deon’s engagement session. Occasionally our couples have a very special location they would like to go to for their engagement photos so their engagement shoot was a couple’s adventure session. Travelling far out of our local area for an engagement portrait session becomes an add-on adventure session because of all the time on the road for us. It’s also a longer photo session with more exploring. For Celia and Deon, the special location was the family cottage and beach in Southampton. We started with photos at the cottage with their two beautiful dogs before heading over to Southampton beach for sunset photos. Elfreda and I had so much fun capturing Celia and Deon and spending the evening with them. We can’t wait to photograph their Brantford farm wedding! Their big day is almost here and we are really looking forward to documenting all the beautiful moments of their big day!
