We always love it when we’ve worked with couples on their wedding and then they reach out to us again when they are expecting to do a maternity portrait session for them. It’s very special to us when we’ve started out as their wedding photographers and get to continue to capture the special moments in their lives. Some couples work with us for the first time when we do their maternity photo session for them, followed by a newborn lifestyle session after the arrival of their baby and then we end up doing family portrait sessions for them year after year. Meeting new people, couples and families is one of the things we love most about our photography business. We might meet people at different stages in their lives but each relationship we develop with them means a great deal to us. It’s a lot of fun to see them year after year and catch up with them. For them, especially children, it makes it a lot more comfortable, relaxed and fun when they are familiar with us and can let loose and be themselves.
We met up with Allie and Steve in Kitchener to do their maternity portraits. We ended up getting the most beautiful soft sunset light that evening and Allie looked absolutely beautiful. Elfreda and I love doing maternity portrait sessions and family portrait sessions, too.
