Sheryl and Steve celebrated their wedding day with a reception in the Brantwood Farms wedding barn on 42 St. George Road in Paris, Ontario. They live in Toronto but wanted to have their wedding and celebration out in the country. They tied the knot on a beautiful late summer day at Sheffield United Church. Sheffield United is an old stone church built in 1894 located in the village of Sheffield. After the wedding ceremony we did family and bridal party photos outside on the church property. Once finished up with the family and bridal party we headed to Brantwood Farms barn, with only the bride and groom, stopping along the way for bridal couple portraits. We first pulled over to the side of the road to get some photos beside a beautiful field of corn with a trail running beside it. Our next stop on the way to the barn reception would be the St. George Applefest in the village of St. George, Brant County. It’s reminiscent of a small British village, and it’s located between Cambridge and Brantford. While there we took photos of our couple walking the streets of the festival and just enjoying themselves. Later on, during sunset, we did some more bridal couple portraits outside the barn on the farm property. The light was absolutely gorgeous that evening. If you are looking to have a country wedding in a barn Brantwood Farms wedding barn is a beautiful location to have a wedding. It’s so close to Paris, Brantford and Cambridge. Elfreda and I loved photographing Sheryl and Steve and capturing their wedding day. We photographed many beautiful memories and fun moments of their wedding ceremony as well as the speeches and first dances of their wedding reception but we are only sharing some of our favourite couple portraits in this wedding blog. You’ll have to trust us that we captured all the amazing special moments like we do at every wedding we photograph.
Here are some of our favourite portraits from their big day.
