Sarah and Mac tied the knot at the stunning Elora Mill in Elora, Ontario. Elora Mill is pretty much our home away from home and easily one of our favourite wedding venues. It’s a short drive from Waterloo and it’s a beautiful drive along the country roads. We love all the Pearle wedding venues for different reasons as each one of them is unique and special in its own way. Sarah and Mac’s wedding day was pretty much what every winter bride or couple dreams of when it comes to a winter wedding in Ontario. The ground was blanketed in beautiful white snow and the snow hung from the trees. It was a cold February day but there wasn’t really any wind. It’s most often the cold wind on January and February that really makes it uncomfortable for winter brides when doing portraits outside. The other thing that we don’t always get is a clear sunny sky and a beautiful sunset but we did on Sarah and Mac’s wedding day. We got the most beautiful soft light at sunset which helped us create the most gorgeous bride and groom portraits for them in the park and in the forest. Sarah and Mac had a very intimate wedding ceremony due to something that all of us were dealing with at that time and we’ll leave it at that. They were able to have a beautiful ceremony in the Elora Mill Foundry chapel with the people they love most and celebrate with them afterward with an intimate dinner. We loved working with Sarah and Mac and being able to capture all the joy and love on their wedding day. They are two of the sweetest and kindest people you could meet and we are so happy they chose us to be their wedding photographers.
