Brooke and Kyle said their I do’s and celebrated their wedding day at Tapestry Hall in Cambridge, Ontario. Tapestry Hall is an historic heritage building that is now a modern wedding venue and event space in the trendy Gaslight District of Cambridge. Outdoor weddings in Ontario in February are like Maple Leaf playoff wins, they don’t happen very often. Thankfully there are stunning wedding venues perfect for winter weddings like Tapestry Hall. When choosing a winter wedding venue, it’s always a good idea to pick one that has options for taking your photos inside where it is toasty warm and very comfortable. Tapestry Hall has tons of spots for doing your portraits inside – bride and groom portraits, family portraits and bridal party portraits. There is plenty of open space to be able to do larger bridal party portraits and family portraits. You won’t have to venture out into the cold at all if you don’t want to because there every corner really is camera ready inside Tapestry Hall.
Brooke and Kyle’s wedding day was a cold day so they decided to do all of their photos inside Tapestry Hall and passed on doing some of their portraits outside. For couples that are up to taking some of their bride and groom portraits outside or even some of their bridal party portraits there are also great spots for photos outside Tapestry Hall. The other bonus with Tapestry Hall is that it is possible for the bride and bridesmaids to do their hair, makeup and get ready using the Mezzanine as the bridal suite.
Tapestry Hall is definitely one of the best wedding venues in Southern Ontario if you are looking for a blend of historic and modern. It is a very cool beautifully restored building that offers a very versatile space for your wedding ceremony and reception. It is a gorgeous wedding for weddings any time of the year – spring, summer, fall or winter. If you are planning to have your wedding at Tapestry Hall, we would love to be your wedding photographers.
