We first met Carly and Matt when we were there wedding photographers and photographed their wedding at the Elora Mill. Elfreda and I love working with them and getting to know them. We were very excited when they reached out to us to do a family portrait session for them their home in Kitchener. Their little guy is the cutest and he was all smiles and love looking at the camera. We did a bunch of photos in their home where it was warm and cozy and their baby didn’t have to be bundled up to be warm. A cool fall day didn’t stop us from going outside into the backyard to do some photos before wrapping up this fun family photo session. Doesn’t he look absolutely adorable in his fall outfit? We also love when the family dog is included in some photos. They are part of the family so they should be included in the portrait session.
We love being family photographers every bit as much as we love being wedding photographers. We do get to work with a lot of our wedding couples again when they have babies. There are now many couples that we’ve been working with for years and we’ve captured their children as they’ve grown. We do also work with lots of families that we meet for the first time when we do newborn photos or family portrait sessions for them.
