We love photographing beach weddings and if you want the most stunning sunset imaginable on your wedding day then there is no where better than a beach on Lake Huron. Grand Bend, Bayfield, Goderich, Kincardine, Inverhuron, Southampton and right up to Sauble Beach. That whole stretch of beach town offers one of the most beautiful sunsets in the world in our opinion. If you are planning to have your wedding on the beach, we would love to be your wedding photographers. There is nothing we love more than capturing golden hour couple’s portraits for our bride and groom on the beach as the sun sets over Lake Huron. There is something so incredibly romantic about strolling the beach as the sun goes down. We always get super excited about the gorgeous soft golden light portraits we can create for our couple in the late evening. It’s also the perfect time to sneak away for a bit of time to themselves before rejoining the reception and partying into the night.
This Kincardine beach wedding was no exception and the awesome couple definitely hired the best wedding photographers to capture their special day. We do our very best to capture every one of our couple’s wedding days in a documentary way that will tell the story of their day from start to finish. We capture every beautiful emotional moment we see and are constantly on the look out for those authentic real candid moments that couples will treasure when they receive their wedding photos from us. Elfreda and I also love guiding our couple during their bride and groom portraits to create the most natural, timeless romantic and fun portraits we can for them.
This amazing couple said their ‘I do’s’ right on the private beach of the family beach house property. There was a beautifully constructed and decorated chuppah erected right on the edge of the beach not far from the water. The rabbi performed a beautiful light hearted and fun ceremony for our couple on a gorgeous August summer day. Elfreda and I really love photographing Jewish weddings for many reasons. One tradition we especially love is witnessing and capturing the hora. There is no tradition that we have ever witnessed at a wedding that is as fun and exciting as the hora. It always gets all the guests going and builds the excitement and celebration to a fevered pitch. The lifting of the chairs is always incredibly exciting to watch. It always makes us want to put down our cameras and join in on the dancing. At this wedding they also brought out the simcha white parachute for the couple to dance under while family and friends held the outer edges, moving the parachute up and down in rhythm with the music. Easily the most exciting and coolest thing we witness as this incredibly fun wedding was when our bride took a running start to dive horizontally in the air onto the parallel line of locked arms. This wedding day was high energy and full of fun. Stephanie was easily one of our coolest fun brides ever and we’ll always have fond memories of capturing hers and Russ’s wedding day.
