Over the years, we’ve built an amazing relationship with so many families in the Kitchener-Waterloo, Cambridge and Guelph area. It’s been over a decade now that we’ve been the most sought after and popular family photographers in the Kitchener-Waterloo area, and honestly, it just keeps getting better. We do more and more shoots in the surrounding towns of Elora, Fergus, Baden, Wilmot, Ayr and so many more. The more families we meet and get to photograph the more we love family photography. Each session feels like catching up with old friends or making new friends very quickly, and that is such a thrill for us. It’s one of the things we love most about our photography business. There is something so magical about capturing those genuine moments of joy and laughter, especially when kids are involved. They bring an incredible amount of energy and spontaneity that keeps us on our toes.
When we work with families, the best shots happen when kids are allowed to just be themselves. Seriously, they can go from a tender hug with their sibling to jumping in the air with a glorious burst of giggles, and we are right there to catch it…often very quickly. It’s important for kids to feel comfortable and it’s something we are very good at. Once they feel comfortable their personalities shine bright. Of course, we always get those classic family portraits where everyone is looking at the camera, with their best smiles and looking sharp. Mom and dad always want some beautiful portraits of the family together and they are definitely important photos we always do our best to capture. We also want to capture those real moments of kids being kids and letting the silliness flow. Outdoor shoots are where the magic happens. We want the beautiful natural light, the fresh air and the beautiful surroundings to create gorgeous portraits for our families. With all the experience we have from working with families and kids over the years, we know exactly how to create an environment where everyone feels happy, relaxed and ready to have some fun.
