Let us tell you about this absolutely gorgeous winter wedding at The Royal Ambassador Wedding & Event Venue in Caledon, Ontario. Jessica and Mark’s big day was nothing short of a winter wonderland wedding dream. Sure, it was a chilly February day, but the sky was as clear as it gets, and the sun with shining bright, giving us that beautiful light that the best wedding photographers dream of. And trust us, the late afternoon light just before sunset was pure magic. It was that soft, diffused winter glow that makes everything look so romantic.
Despite the cold, Jessica and Mark were total champions as they braved the freezing temps for their couple portraits. I mean, we got some stunning shots by the frozen lakeside and the gazebo was just picture-perfect covered in snow! Their bridal party also stepped up, embracing the chilly weather to support their friends. It made for some really fun shots – we definitely captured the real emotion and laughter, which just made the day even more special. The lovely snow blanketed the gardens and the natural lake, creating a stunning backdrop for all those timeless and classic portraits with a contemporary edge.
Then we headed inside for the ceremony, which was cozy and warm in front of the fireplace. Seriously, it was the ideal romantic setting for Jessica and Mark to say their “I do’s.” Imagine their guests enjoying the warmth of the fire while the couple exchanged vows in such a beautiful location.
The Royal Ambassador is one of those venues that never disappoints, offering so many beautiful locations for photos regardless of the season.
