Sarah and Albert had a beautiful wedding at Cambridge Mill, in Cambridge, Ontario. Their ceremony took place in the pavilion chapel which overlooks the majestic Grand River offering a wonderful outdoor feel while keeping guests cool and comfortable from the summer heat. The light in the chapel is absolutely beautiful and one of the big reasons we love photographing wedding in the chapel so much. It creates a perfect backdrop for any couple’s vows, making it one of our favourite spots for ceremonies.
Before the ceremony, Sarah and Albert shared a first look and some quiet moments together. This allowed them to connect before their ceremony and they felt much more relaxed after they had some time together. It also gave them more time for their couple portraits which we took advantage of by getting some gorgeous portraits in the Mill Race Park Amphitheatre. Its cobblestone path and stone ruins by the river made for gorgeous portraits. We also made sure to go right down to the river’s edge for some bride and groom portraits, too.
As the sun began to set, we took our lovely couple out for some golden hour photos around the Cambridge Mill property. We also made sure to get some portraits on the enchanting Juliet balcony. The view from up there is breathtaking and shouldn’t be missed.
Throughout the day we aimed to document real moments and always focus on capturing emotional expressions and candid interactions. Our goal is to create timeless, classic, natural portraits that feel very romantic. Sarah and Albert’s wedding day was filled with authentic moments, laughter and joy. Those are the moments we want to capture throughout every couple’s wedding day. We truly believe that is a big part of what makes us the best wedding photographers in the Cambridge, Kitchener-Waterloo and Guelph area.
