This wedding is probably the most beautiful and fun wedding ever photographed at the Elora Mill. Full stop. Without a doubt Lara and Marc are one of the most fun couples we’ve ever had the pleasure of working with and this was one absolutely gorgeous Elora Mill wedding day. They said their ‘I do’s’ on a beautiful fall day in late October. They couldn’t have had a more beautiful day for their wedding and as their wedding photographers we couldn’t have been happier ourselves. We always want to have beautiful light to work with on our couple’s wedding days and we also want them to feel comfortable outside so the enjoy the photo experience. We’ve had the pleasure of photographing countless beautiful weddings at Elora Mill since it reopened in 2018 but this one is definitely one of our very favourites. Lara and Marc had so much fun on their wedding day and in turn made it a lot of fun for us to capture all the emotional moments of their day. Lara was definitely the most spontaneous bride we’ve ever worked with and she is also the kindest, warmest and sweetest person. They put their trust in us to create gorgeous bride and groom portraits for them. Lara and Marc took all the guidance we gave them and went with it to make the most natural, romantic and fun couple’s portraits. They were just being themselves and truly enjoying every minute of their wedding day. It made it very easy to capture authentic moments between this couple when they were being themselves. Creating classic timeless and romantic portraits was simple with this couple who is so clearly in love with one another.
Lara and Marc also planned their wedding day perfectly. They gave themselves plenty of time to be able to do the things they wanted to do on their special day like go on the river down in the Elora gorge for couple portraits. It’s impossible to get portraits in the gorge and in the park without doing a first look. Their first look was incredibly romantic and a very special private moment between them. Then they had a lot of time for portraits before their wedding ceremony. We’ve photographed so many beautiful Elora Mill weddings over the years. We’ve become the best Elora wedding photographers and become highly sought after for our photography style and our editing style. With us, couples know they are getting a boutique experience from a husband-and-wife photography team. We don’t work with associate photographers so when a couple books us, they know it will definitely be us capturing their special day and not an unknown pair of photographers chosen from a huge impersonal team of photographers. Elfreda and I want every couple we work with to feel like they’ve received a truly personal 5-star experience. We truly care about every couple that chooses us to capture such a special day in their lives, and we want them to know that we are there for them at every step along the way to ensure they have the day they dreamed of and can fully enjoy it.
