We are excited to share this incredible summer wedding we shot at Whistle Bear Golf Club in Cambridge, Ontario. If you’re not familiar with this wedding venue, it’s like a hidden gem for weddings in the GTA and southern Ontario, and honestly, it quickly became one of our all-time-favourite wedding venues after photographing our first wedding there now years ago. The views from the terraces are breathtaking, especially as the sun starts to set over the golf course. You can imagine the golden hour shots. Pure magic!
Now, let’s talk about Devon and Robbie. These two are the kind of couple that just radiate fun and good times. They made it easy to capture their joy on their special day. From the moment they got ready, you could feel the excitement in the air. They kept things light and playful which always makes our job super enjoyable. It’s always such a pleasure when couples are relaxed and just want to have fun on their wedding day. That is exactly what it was like with these two.
Throughout the day, we loved capturing the little moments – like their spontaneous laughter and loving glances; it all added to the story of their wedding day. Whistle Bear provided the best perfect backdrop with its beautiful forest and perfectly landscaped golf course, making the natural portraits we created for them feel so timeless. As the sun dipped below the horizon, we made sure to be out on the golf course to capture dream sunset shots that we are able to create at this incredible wedding venue. Few offer the gorgeous unobstructed sunsets that Whistle Bear Golf Club does.
