You know, becoming the go-to family portrait photographer in the Kitchener-Waterloo area took some serious time and effort. It didn’t happen over night, that’s for sure. It’s been a journey focused not just on improving our technical photography skills, but also really understanding the dynamics of families and the joyful chaos that come with kids and working with them. We’re all about creating those timeless classic family portraits, but what also gets us excited are those natural, candid moments – the laughter, the silly faces, and the little things that show what family life is all about. Let’s just say we love capturing the absolutely crazy fun moments. When kids let loose and show their true selves. Those are also the kind of moments we want to capture for mom and dad.
We’ve been working with this really amazing family since they welcomed their first little one into the world, and let me tell you, it just keeps getting better every year. Capturing their family as it grows has been such a joy. We’ve spent our fair share of afternoons doing lifestyle shoots at their home and exploring the beautiful parks around the Waterloo region for those fun natural light candid outdoor sessions. To say we feel honored to be one of the most sought-after family photographers around here is an understatement! Getting to connect with so many wonderful families in the Cambridge, Kitchener-Waterloo area and beyond has been a fantastic experience. And when they commission a family portrait session at their beach house on Lake Huron or a cozy cottage by the lake, it’s always an incredibly fun time. There’s something special about family portraits in those beautiful settings where everyone can relax and just be themselves.
